**Upon completion of the TOA Diploma Programme in the related field, students will be permitted advanced entry to Year 2 of the UK Degree Programme. Assessments in academic writing skills and additional semester may be required to satisfy pre-requisites for Degree Studies.
Intake for direct entry into Year 1 and Year 2 of the Bachelor Degree Programmes is open in April. Semester begins in May each year.

Certificate in Communication Design
(1 Years 4 Months)
The Certificate programme is specially designed to help students with a minimum of 1 credit in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Ordinary Level (O-Level) or other recognised equivalent qualification, to obtain the essential knowledge and skills to enrol in Year 1 of the Diploma programmes.
Candidates who do not have a Pass in English will be required to take the Intensive English Programme (IEP) at The One Academy.
When you apply for a Visa Approval Letter, you must demonstrate that you have an acceptable level of English language proficiency. The English Language tests which are accepted for Student Pass Application are:
Three (3) intakes: January , April and August
for all Diploma Programmes except
Diploma in Fashion Design & Pattern Making (March & September).
The Foundation in Communication Design programme and Foundation in Interior Architecture Design programme is a prerequisite for our UK Degree programmes.
One (1) intake: May.

If you have completed other courses or modules at another institution, you may be eligible to apply for credit transfer. Credit transfer is given based on subject to subject mapping according to guidelines provided by MOHE / MQA.
Credit transfer will be assessed by the Degree Programme Leader and in consultation with the Associate Dean of School in University of Hertfordshire. Please include full information of your prior studies, and attach relevant transcripts, portfolios and other evidence of your studies. Please contact the Student Registration Office (SRA) to discuss any aspect of the application process that you are unsure about and to arrange for a visit.
